Colour: Red, orange-red or reddish-brown.
Streak: White or yellow.

Vanadinite is a relatively rare lead mineral occurring in the oxydation zones of lead deposits. One of the best-known localities for vanadinite is Mibladen in Morocco where a particularly attractive combination of vanadinite with calcite frequently occurs.
