Colour: Colourless, white, grey, yellowish or
greenish.
Streak: Colourless.
Anglesite occurs in lead ore deposits, largely as an oxydation product from galena (lead sulphide). Tsumeb in Namibia and Touissit in Morocco are famous for fine crystalline specimens of Anglesite.
The specimen shown is of twinned Anglesite crystals from Touissit, Oujda, Morocco.
