Density: 6.3 gms/cm³
Colour: Colourless, white, grey, yellowish or greenish.
Streak: Colourless.

Anglesite occurs in lead ore deposits, largely as an oxydation product from galena (lead sulphide). Tsumeb in Namibia and Touissit in Morocco are famous for fine crystalline specimens of Anglesite.
